Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Triage / Telehealth Nurse to join our remote team. This is an exceptional opportunity for qualified nurses globally who are looking to transition into a flexible, technology-driven healthcare environment. As a Telehealth Nurse, you will be the first point of contact for patients, utilizing your clinical expertise to provide remote health assessments, advice, and guidance. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough virtual health assessments and patient interviews via telephone or video conferencing.
- Provide accurate and timely medical advice, education, and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Perform medical triage, determining the urgency of patient symptoms and guiding them to appropriate levels of care (e.g., self-care, GP appointment, urgent care, emergency services).
- Document all patient interactions and medical information accurately and comprehensively in our electronic health record system.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Adhere to all clinical protocols, policies, and professional nursing standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training specific to telehealth practices.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical standards at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid and active nursing license (e.g., NMC registration or equivalent eligibility for registration in the UK).
- Minimum of 2 years post-registration nursing experience in an acute care, primary care, or emergency setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and comfortable with telehealth technology.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Eligibility for UK visa sponsorship (we will guide you through the process).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a telehealth, remote consulting, or call center environment.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems specific to telehealth.
- Additional language proficiencies.
- Advanced certifications in areas such as basic life support (BLS) or advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).
