Job Description
Join Bupa UK as a Triage / Telehealth Nurse and play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality remote healthcare. This position involves providing initial patient assessment, advice, and coordination of care via telephone and video consultations. We are looking for compassionate and skilled nurses dedicated to improving patient outcomes through accessible and efficient telehealth services. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telephone and video-based clinical assessments.
- Provide professional health advice, education, and emotional support to patients.
- Triage patient symptoms and direct them to appropriate levels of care (e.g., GP, urgent care, emergency services).
- Document all patient interactions accurately and efficiently in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Adhere to all clinical guidelines, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
Required Skills
- Current NMC registration (Adult, Child, Mental Health, or Learning Disability Nurse).
- Minimum 2 years post-registration nursing experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in using electronic patient record systems.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a diverse caseload effectively.
- IT literacy and comfort with telehealth technology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a triage, telehealth, or call centre nursing role.
- Experience with mental health first aid or similar training.
- Fluency in additional languages.
