Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and physically fit individuals to join our construction crew as a Trench Digging Laborer. This is a demanding but highly rewarding role that involves significant manual effort and a strong work ethic. You will be an essential part of our team, responsible for preparing sites for various infrastructure projects by performing critical excavation tasks. Key Responsibilities
- Manually dig trenches using shovels and other hand tools according to specifications and safety guidelines.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
- Ensure worksite is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work effectively as part of a team to complete project goals on schedule.
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned on site.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety (training provided).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a construction or manual labor role is an asset but not required.
- Valid UK driving license.
- CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) – can be obtained upon employment.
