Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and physically fit individuals to join our dedicated team as Tree Planters for regional reforestation projects around Warrnambool. This role is crucial to our mission of restoring natural habitats and involves working outdoors in various terrains and weather conditions. Your hard work will be directly rewarded through a competitive piece-rate bonus structure, meaning the more you plant, the more you earn. Key Responsibilities

  • Plant native seedlings according to specific planting plans and ecological guidelines.
  • Work efficiently and consistently to meet daily planting targets.
  • Maintain planting tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean and in good working order.
  • Adhere strictly to all health and safety protocols on site.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve project goals.
  • Navigate uneven terrain and work in varied weather conditions, including sun, rain, and wind.

  • Excellent physical fitness and stamina for demanding outdoor work.
  • Ability to work effectively and safely in various weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in manual labor, agriculture, or outdoor work.
  • Basic knowledge of native Australian flora or ecological restoration.
  • Current First Aid certification.
  • Valid Australian Driver's License.
