Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Land Registry Assistant to join our dedicated Public Sector team in Southport. This is an exceptional entry-level opportunity for individuals with no prior experience in land registration or the public sector, as full training will be provided. You will play a crucial role in supporting the accurate and efficient management of land and property records within the Sefton area, contributing to essential public services and local development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the accurate processing and maintenance of land and property records.
- Conduct data entry and verification tasks related to property transactions and legal documents.
- Learn to interpret and apply land registration guidelines and procedures.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding land registry information under supervision.
- Provide administrative support to senior Land Registry Officers.
- Organise and maintain physical and digital filing systems.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality protocols.
Required Skills
- No prior experience is required; full training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and willing attitude to learn and develop new skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics at grade C/4 or above.
