Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Shadowing experienced Environmental Health Officers on inspections and investigations.
  • Assisting with routine site visits to food establishments, private rented properties, and other premises.
  • Learning to identify and assess environmental health risks and hazards.
  • Participating in public health campaigns and initiatives.
  • Supporting the team in responding to public enquiries and complaints.
  • Undertaking administrative tasks related to case management and record keeping.
  • Engaging in continuous professional development and formal training as required for qualification.
  • Applying learned knowledge to practical scenarios under supervision.
