Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Shadowing experienced Environmental Health Officers on inspections and investigations.
- Assisting with routine site visits to food establishments, private rented properties, and other premises.
- Learning to identify and assess environmental health risks and hazards.
- Participating in public health campaigns and initiatives.
- Supporting the team in responding to public enquiries and complaints.
- Undertaking administrative tasks related to case management and record keeping.
- Engaging in continuous professional development and formal training as required for qualification.
- Applying learned knowledge to practical scenarios under supervision.

- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).

Preferred Qualifications
- A degree or equivalent in a science-related subject (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science) is desirable, but not essential for exceptional candidates.
