Job Description
Are you an aspiring engineer passionate about shaping the future of transportation? WSP is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Traffic & Transportation Engineering Intern to join our Highways team in Leamington Spa. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with data collection and analysis for transportation studies.
- Support senior engineers in the development of traffic models and forecasts.
- Contribute to the preparation of technical reports and design documentation.
- Learn and apply relevant industry standards and guidelines for highway design.
- Participate in site visits and project meetings to gain practical experience.
- Utilize CAD software for basic drawing and mapping tasks under supervision.
- Collaborate with team members on various project stages, from concept to delivery.
- Undertake research to support project specific requirements and innovative solutions.
Required Skills
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
- A strong eagerness to learn and develop a career in transportation engineering.
- Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
