Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable individual for the role of Teppanyaki Grill Scraper – After Hours Cleaning. This entry-level position is vital to ensuring our kitchen meets the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene after our daily operations conclude. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone seeking evening work and a meticulous approach to tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and scrape teppanyaki grills and surrounding cooking surfaces post-service.
- Sanitise all kitchen work surfaces, counters, and equipment.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste according to restaurant procedures.
- Mop and clean kitchen floors.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and restaurant cleaning protocols.
- Report any maintenance issues or damage to equipment to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organised storage area for cleaning supplies.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard before the next operating day.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently after hours.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including standing, bending, and lifting.
