Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and curious Space Debris Mitigation Research Intern to join our innovative team in Halifax. This internship offers a unique opportunity for aspiring space professionals to contribute to cutting-edge research aimed at understanding and mitigating the growing threat of space debris. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced engineers and scientists, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in a dynamic R&D environment. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct literature reviews and gather data on current space debris mitigation strategies and technologies.
- Assist in the analysis of orbital data to characterize debris populations and predict collision risks.
- Support the development of models and simulations for debris evolution and mitigation effectiveness.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and summaries of research findings.
- Collaborate with team members on ongoing projects and contribute to project meetings.

Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Astronomy, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
