Job Description
Join the dedicated team at Hilton Hotels & Resorts in Blackpool as a Room Service Tray Collector. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals who enjoy being active and contributing to a seamless guest experience. You will be responsible for efficiently collecting used room service trays and dishes from guest rooms and corridors, ensuring cleanliness and order throughout our hotel floors. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience is necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Routinely walk hotel corridors to identify and collect used room service trays and dishes.
- Transport collected items safely and discreetly to the dishwashing area.
- Maintain a clean and tidy appearance in corridors and common areas.
- Assist with basic tidying of hallways, removing any small debris encountered.
- Communicate effectively and courteously with guests and other hotel staff.
- Adhere to all hotel safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Report any maintenance issues or unusual observations to the appropriate department.
Required Skills
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
- Physical capability to lift and carry trays (up to 20 kg).
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- No prior experience required; full training provided.
