Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Revenue Manager to join our team in Leeds. This pivotal role is responsible for maximizing hotel revenue through strategic pricing, inventory management, and distribution channel optimization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in revenue management within the hospitality sector. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective revenue management strategies to maximize RevPAR and overall hotel profitability.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and demand patterns to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Manage pricing, inventory, and distribution channels across all segments to ensure optimal room rates and occupancy.
  • Forecast hotel occupancy and revenue, preparing detailed reports and presentations for management.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and reservations teams to align revenue strategies with broader business goals.
  • Monitor and analyze revenue performance against budget, previous year, and market benchmarks.
  • Utilize various revenue management systems and tools to make informed decisions.
  • Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly revenue meetings, providing insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in revenue management.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Revenue Management within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in revenue management systems (e.g., Opera, Lightspeed, Duetto, IDeaS).
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proven ability to strategize and execute successful revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience working with international markets or a diverse customer base.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and e-commerce strategies in the hospitality sector.
  • Certification in Revenue Management.
