Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Restaurant Waiters to join our dynamic team at Yellow Chilli, Ikeja. As a Waiter, you will be the face of our restaurant, responsible for ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and delightful dining experience. This role requires individuals with a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to service. While previous experience is a plus, we welcome candidates with a strong desire to learn and grow in the culinary industry. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of service and contributing to a positive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat guests upon arrival, presenting menus and daily specials.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, offering recommendations and answering questions about menu items.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, ensuring presentation and temperature standards are met.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to special requests or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Process payments accurately using the restaurant's POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down dining areas.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
