Job Description
Are you an energetic, reliable individual who enjoys working outdoors and providing top-notch service? AquaClean Pool Services of Jacksonville is seeking a dedicated Residential Pool Cleaning Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining a route of residential pools, ensuring they are clean, safe, and enjoyable for our clients. This is an active role requiring attention to detail, a good work ethic, and a customer-focused attitude. Full training will be provided to the right candidate who demonstrates mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean residential swimming pools and spas (brushing, skimming, vacuuming).
- Monitor and balance water chemistry using testing kits and appropriate chemicals.
- Inspect pool equipment for proper function and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and chemicals used.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding pool status and services.
- Manage and organize company-provided tools and chemicals efficiently.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company standards at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and customer service abilities.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in pool maintenance, landscaping, or outdoor service roles.
- Knowledge of pool chemistry and equipment.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or similar certification.
