Job Description
We are seeking highly detail-oriented and dedicated individuals to join our team as Remote Standardized Test Scorers for a seasonal work-from-home opportunity. This role is crucial in evaluating student responses to various standardized tests, ensuring fair and accurate scoring according to established rubrics. You will undergo comprehensive training to master specific scoring guidelines for different assessments. This is a seasonal position, offering flexible hours within set windows, ideal for individuals with a strong academic background looking for meaningful remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive training on scoring rubrics and protocols for assigned assessments.
- Accurately and consistently apply scoring guidelines to student responses.
- Maintain scoring accuracy and productivity rates as established by project requirements.
- Collaborate with lead scorers and team members to ensure scoring consistency.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and security protocols regarding test materials.
- Participate in calibration sessions and ongoing training as required.
- Communicate effectively with project supervisors regarding any scoring challenges or questions.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher in any discipline (e.g., Education, English, History, Science, Math, etc.)
- Excellent reading comprehension and analytical skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions precisely.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated, distraction-free home workspace.
- Proficiency with standard computer applications and ability to quickly learn new software.
