Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and organized Public Records Assistant to join our team in Spokane. This full-time, on-site position offers daytime hours and an excellent pension plan, making it an ideal opportunity for individuals looking for a stable and rewarding career. The Public Records Assistant will be responsible for managing and maintaining various public records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and assisting with information requests. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience in public records is necessary. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Process, organize, and maintain public records in both physical and digital formats.
- Respond to public records requests in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Assist in the redaction of sensitive information from documents as required.
- Ensure accurate indexing, filing, and retrieval of records.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all sensitive information.
- Perform data entry and administrative tasks as needed to support the records department.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.
