Job Description
KineticCare Physical Therapy Clinic is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Therapy Aide to join our growing team in Dunfermline. This entry-level position is perfect for someone looking to start a career in healthcare, with full training provided. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and therapists, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized, and providing essential support to patients during their therapy sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Wipe down and sanitize all physical therapy equipment (e.g., exercise machines, treatment tables, weights) before and after use.
- Prepare treatment areas for patient arrival, ensuring cleanliness and organisation.
- Assist patients with simple exercises and mobility tasks as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Escort patients to and from treatment areas, providing assistance as needed.
- Monitor and replenish clinic supplies, ensuring all necessary items are available.
- Maintain inventory of linens and ensure laundry is managed efficiently.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scheduling, and answering phones if needed.
- Ensure a positive and welcoming environment for all patients and visitors.
