Job Description
We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and highly organized Part-Time Restaurant Greeter to be the first point of contact for our valued guests at The Grand Bistro Lagos. As a Greeter, you will play a crucial role in shaping the initial impression of our restaurant, ensuring every visitor feels welcomed and attended to. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals passionate about hospitality who are looking to kickstart their career in a high-end dining environment. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet all guests upon arrival and bid them a fond farewell upon departure.
- Efficiently manage the reservation system and walk-in guest flow.
- Escort guests to their tables, ensuring a smooth and pleasant seating experience.
- Assist guests with coat check and other immediate needs.
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
- Provide accurate wait times and communicate effectively with guests regarding their seating status.
- Answer incoming calls professionally and assist with basic inquiries or direct calls appropriately.
- Collaborate with the serving and kitchen staff to ensure seamless guest service.
- Handle guest inquiries and minor complaints with grace and escalate issues when necessary.
