Job Description
Are you a compassionate and reliable individual looking for a rewarding role in healthcare? Bupa is seeking a dedicated Night Shift Care Assistant to join our team in Brighton. This role is perfect for individuals who are committed to providing high-quality care during the night, ensuring our residents feel safe, comfortable, and respected. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience in a care setting is required – just a genuine desire to make a difference in people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care routines, including washing, dressing, and toileting, maintaining dignity and respect at all times.
- Support residents with mobility and transfers, using equipment as required and ensuring safety.
- Monitor residents' well-being throughout the night, reporting any changes or concerns to the senior staff.
- Assist with medication rounds as directed by senior staff, following all relevant protocols.
- Respond promptly to call bells and resident requests.
- Engage residents in conversation and provide companionship, creating a calm and supportive environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records.
- Undertake light domestic duties to ensure a clean and tidy environment.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and Bupa policies and procedures.
- Participate in mandatory training and development programs.

- No prior care experience required as full training will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications
