Job Description
We are seeking reliable and energetic individuals to join our team as Milk Run Offsiders for casual early morning shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is physically fit, a morning person, and looking for flexible part-time work. As an Offsider, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our dairy products are delivered safely and on time to our diverse customer base. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided to the right candidates who demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the driver with the loading and unloading of dairy products onto and off the delivery vehicle.
- Navigate routes efficiently with the driver, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Safely handle and transport various dairy products, including milk, yogurt, and cheese.
- Verify product quantities against delivery manifests to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a high level of customer service during deliveries, representing the company professionally.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with basic vehicle checks and cleanliness as required.
- Work collaboratively with the driver and other team members.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items repeatedly.
- Reliability and excellent punctuality for early morning starts.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
- No prior experience required – full training provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a physical role or in a logistics/delivery environment (even if informal).
- Familiarity with the Lismore and surrounding Northern Rivers area.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
