Job Description

This is an entry-level, office-based position perfect for individuals with no prior experience in medical billing or coding. Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all provided training programs covering medical terminology, CPT/ICD-10 coding, and billing procedures.
- Learn to accurately enter patient and insurance information into billing software.
- Assist senior staff with claims submission and follow-up processes.
- Review and verify documentation for accuracy and completeness under supervision.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
- Develop an understanding of various insurance plans and their billing requirements.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed to support the billing department.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve knowledge and skills in medical billing and coding.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
