Job Description
Join our team as a Seasonal Landscape Labourer! We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to help maintain and enhance outdoor spaces in and around Bridgwater. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to gain practical experience in the landscaping industry, as no prior experience is required. Full training will be provided, ensuring you develop valuable skills in a supportive environment. This role is crucial for delivering high-quality grounds maintenance services during our peak season.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with general grounds maintenance tasks including mowing, weeding, planting, and pruning.
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment under supervision (training provided).
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work sites.
- Help with the installation and upkeep of various landscape features.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Ensure all work is carried out to high standards of quality and attention to detail.
- Assist with waste removal and proper disposal of green waste.
Required Skills
- No prior experience in landscaping or gardening required – full training provided!
- Strong work ethic and a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
- Basic understanding of health and safety principles (training will reinforce this).
Preferred Qualifications
- A full UK driving license would be beneficial but is not essential.
