Job Description
Are you passionate about data and eager to kickstart your career in a dynamic, data-driven environment? Auto Trader is seeking a motivated Junior Data Analyst to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using SQL and Python.
- Conduct basic data cleaning, validation, and quality assurance to ensure data integrity.
- Support senior analysts in developing and maintaining reports and dashboards.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Write clear and concise documentation for data processes and analytical findings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing learning and development initiatives.
Required Skills
- Foundational understanding of SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Basic proficiency in Python, particularly with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications
- A degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- An interest in the automotive industry or digital marketplaces.
