Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated IT Manager to lead our technology operations and infrastructure within our Winchester office. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our IT systems, ensuring their efficiency, security, and reliability. This role requires a strong leader with a deep technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage a team of IT professionals. You will play a critical role in supporting our business objectives by providing robust and innovative IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all IT operations, including network infrastructure, servers, and cybersecurity.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT support specialists.
- Ensure the security of IT systems, data, and network access.
- Develop and implement IT policies and best practices.
- Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement.
- Provide technical support and guidance to staff.
- Plan and execute IT projects, including system upgrades and migrations.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar leadership role (5+ years).
- Strong knowledge of network administration (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN).
- Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
- Experience working in a professional services or consulting environment.
