Job Description
Are you a highly motivated individual eager to kickstart your career in Supply Chain Management? Coles Group is offering an exciting Internship opportunity within our dynamic Supply Chain team. This entry-level position is designed for individuals with no prior professional experience, providing comprehensive training and hands-on exposure to the complex world of retail logistics. Based at one of our national hubs in Shepparton, you will gain invaluable experience across various facets of the supply chain, from inventory management to logistics optimization and operational support. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with inventory tracking and management tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Support logistics operations, including inbound and outbound freight coordination.
- Contribute to data entry and analysis related to supply chain metrics and performance.
- Collaborate with various teams to understand interdependencies within the supply chain.
- Participate in operational planning meetings and contribute fresh perspectives.
- Help identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Complete assigned projects and reports under the guidance of experienced mentors.
- Adhere to all safety and operational guidelines within the distribution center environment.
