Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Night Shift Shelf Facer to join our team in Springfield, MA. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring our store’s aisles are impeccably organized, fully stocked, and visually appealing for our customers. Working during overnight hours, you will play a key part in maintaining product availability, rotating stock to ensure freshness, and creating a pristine shopping environment before the store opens each day. This is an entry-level position perfect for individuals who are detail-oriented, have a strong work ethic, and are comfortable with physical tasks. Full training will be provided to help you succeed in making our aisles look perfect.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock shelves, freezer, and dairy cases with new merchandise, ensuring proper placement and presentation.
- Front and face all products on shelves, creating a neat and organized appearance.
- Rotate merchandise to ensure older products are sold first (First-In, First-Out).
- Verify product freshness and remove expired or damaged items from shelves.
- Assist with receiving and organizing incoming shipments during the night shift.
- Maintain cleanliness of aisles, shelves, and storage areas.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently (training provided).
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding stock levels and store needs.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Reliability and punctuality, especially for night shift hours.
- Basic communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

- Previous experience in a retail or grocery store setting.
- Familiarity with inventory management or stocking procedures.
