Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Government Epidemic Response Assistant to join our dedicated public health team in Kilmarnock. This is a high-demand role critical to supporting our ongoing efforts in public health response and community protection. You will play a vital role in data management, communication, and logistical coordination to ensure effective and timely responses to public health challenges. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to local government efforts in safeguarding community health.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the epidemic response team.
- Assist with data entry, management, and analysis of public health information.
- Respond to public inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information and signposting to relevant services.
- Coordinate resources and materials required for response efforts, ensuring availability and proper distribution.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to public health cases and interventions.
- Support the preparation of reports and presentations on response activities and outcomes.
- Liaise with internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless communication and coordinated action.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and data protection protocols at all times.
