Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and reliable General Utility Hands to join our team, providing essential support services at various mining camps across the UK. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of camp facilities, contributing directly to the welfare and productivity of onsite personnel. Successful candidates will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including maintenance, cleaning, kitchen assistance, and general logistics, often in remote and challenging environments. Full training will be provided to ensure all team members are proficient and safe in their duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning and tidying of camp facilities, including accommodation, dining areas, and communal spaces.
- Assist with kitchen duties such as food preparation, dishwashing, and maintaining hygiene standards.
- Provide logistical support, including receiving and organizing supplies, and waste management.
- Conduct basic maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and reporting larger issues to supervisors.
- Operate various hand tools and small machinery safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Support other camp operations as required to ensure smooth daily functioning.
- Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and presentation.
