Job Description
Curzon Cinemas in Oxford is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Event Ushers. This part-time role is perfectly suited for students or anyone looking for flexible work within a dynamic and exciting cinema and theatre environment. As an Usher, you will be the face of our venue, ensuring every guest enjoys a safe, comfortable, and memorable experience at our film screenings, live performances, and special events. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience is necessary – just a positive attitude and a passion for service.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome guests and assist them with finding their seats.
- Scan tickets and provide information about the venue, facilities, and upcoming events.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in the cinema halls, lobbies, and common areas.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor issues promptly and politely.
- Assist with emergency procedures, including evacuations, if necessary.
- Monitor cinema halls during screenings to ensure guest comfort and address any disruptions.
- Support the overall operational flow of the cinema and theatre during events.
