Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Early Years / Kindergarten Manager to lead our dedicated team in Isleworth, Hounslow. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of early years educators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the kindergarten, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements (e.g., Ofsted, EYFS).
  • Develop and implement engaging educational programs that align with our philosophy and promote holistic child development.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels efficiently to ensure the smooth running of the setting.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and the wider community.
  • Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection are maintained at all times.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide ongoing feedback, and facilitate professional development for all staff.
  • Oversee admissions, parent communications, and marketing activities to maintain high occupancy levels.
  • Lead regular staff meetings and training sessions to enhance team knowledge and skills.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for all children and staff.

Required Skills

  • Proven leadership and management experience within an early years setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and Ofsted requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff.
  • Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
  • A passion for early years education and child development.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, or a related field (e.g., Childhood Studies, Education Studies).
  • Hold an Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience managing budgets and financial aspects of an early years setting.
  • A valid paediatric first aid qualification.
