Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Early Morning Baker to join our bustling Campbelltown team on a part-time basis. This role is crucial to ensuring our bakery is stocked with fresh, high-quality bread and pastries for our customers each morning. If you have a passion for baking, attention to detail, and thrive in an early morning environment, we encourage you to apply. Full training will be provided on our specific recipes and baking processes, but a foundational understanding of baking principles is highly valued. This is an on-site role, requiring you to work at our Campbelltown location.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, and other baked goods according to Bakers Delight recipes and standards.
- Operate and maintain baking equipment, including mixers, ovens, and proofers.
- Monitor product quality and consistency throughout the baking process.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met at all times.
- Assist with inventory management of ingredients and supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of baking principles or demonstrable kitchen experience.
- Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Physical ability to lift heavy bags of flour and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
