Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning models and algorithms to solve business problems.
- Perform extensive data analysis, including exploration, cleaning, and feature engineering, to prepare data for modeling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- Deploy and monitor AI/ML models in production environments, ensuring their performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Research and evaluate new data science methodologies, tools, and technologies to continuously improve our capabilities.
- Present complex analytical findings and insights clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and knowledge sharing within the Data & AI community at Capgemini.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role involving AI/ML
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python (with libraries like scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy) and/or R
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, deep learning) and statistical modeling
- Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
- Solid SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their data/ML services
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex datasets
- Strong communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in a relevant quantitative field
- Experience with Big Data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)
- Familiarity with MLOps principles and tools for model lifecycle management
- Prior experience in consulting or working across multiple industries
- Understanding of software development best practices (e.g., version control with Git)
