Job Description
Are you an early riser with a passion for animals and a desire to learn new skills? Riverland AgriSolutions is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our dairy team as Dairy Shed Hands for morning shifts. This is an entry-level position where no prior experience is required – we are committed to providing full, comprehensive training to the right candidates. You will learn all aspects of dairy shed operations, animal welfare, and contribute to the smooth running of our farm. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the milking process during morning shifts, ensuring efficiency and animal comfort.
- Learn and apply best practices for animal handling, hygiene, and welfare.
- Clean and maintain the dairy shed and equipment to high standards.
- Monitor cows for any signs of illness or injury and report observations to the farm manager.
- Contribute to general farm duties as required, supporting the wider farm team.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and operational guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of milking procedures and animal health checks.
