Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our vibrant team as a Cocktail Waitress. In this role, you will be an integral part of our beverage service team, ensuring guests receive prompt, friendly, and accurate drink service in our bars, lounges, and event spaces. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality, excellent interpersonal skills, and a desire to work in a fast-paced, high-energy setting where your efforts are directly rewarded with significant tips and a professional uniform is provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests and take drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our drink menu, including cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash or credit transactions responsibly.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware and serving stations.
- Adhere to all food safety and alcohol service regulations.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service to enhance their experience.
- Collaborate effectively with bartenders and other team members to ensure smooth service.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any service issues professionally and courteously.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar customer service or hospitality role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Basic knowledge of various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Reliable and punctual with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cocktail waitress or bartender assistant in a high-volume establishment.
- Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS).
