Job Description
We are urgently seeking motivated and reliable Civil Construction Hands to join our dynamic team in Palmerston, Northern Territory. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for high pay and immediate start within a leading global construction company. As a Civil Construction Hand, you will be instrumental in supporting various civil infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople and operators on various civil construction sites.
- Perform general labouring duties, including site preparation, trenching, and backfilling.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Maintain a clean and organised work site, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with the setup and dismantling of temporary structures and equipment.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and project managers accurately.
- Participate in daily toolbox talks and safety briefings.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of construction site operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- White Card (Construction Induction Card).
- Previous experience in a civil construction or similar labouring role.
- First Aid certification.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
