Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Bridge & Tunnel Toll Operators. In this critical government role, you will be responsible for the efficient collection of tolls from motorists, ensuring accurate transactions, and providing courteous assistance. This position requires the ability to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, in an on-site toll booth environment. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately collect tolls from motorists using various payment methods (cash, electronic passes).
- Provide clear directions and information to patrons as needed.
- Operate toll collection equipment and systems efficiently.
- Balance cash drawer and prepare daily reports.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the toll booth.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or unusual incidents to supervisors.
- Adhere strictly to all city policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle public inquiries professionally.
