Job Description
We are actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated BIM Coordinator / Manager to join our dynamic team in Rock Hill, SC. This is a critical role responsible for overseeing and optimizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across various projects. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing project efficiency, collaboration, and delivery quality. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and workflows in alignment with company objectives and project requirements.
- Manage and coordinate BIM models from various disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP) to ensure model integrity, clash detection, and data accuracy.
- Provide technical support, training, and guidance to project teams on BIM software and best practices.
- Facilitate BIM coordination meetings and effectively communicate BIM-related issues and solutions to stakeholders.
- Generate accurate quantities, schedules, and reports from BIM models for project planning and cost control.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM processes and technologies within the company.
- Ensure compliance with project-specific BIM execution plans and deliverables.
- Support project managers in leveraging BIM for design review, constructability analysis, and site logistics.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other relevant BIM software.
- Strong understanding of BIM principles, methodologies, and industry standards.
- Experience with clash detection and coordination processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and specifications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certification (e.g., LEED AP, PMP).
- Experience with Dynamo or other BIM automation tools.
- Familiarity with ISO 19650 standards.
- Experience working on large-scale commercial or industrial construction projects.
