Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Bar Utility Hand to join our dynamic team for casual evening shifts. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in the hospitality industry, offering flexible hours and attractive penalty rates. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our bar area, supporting our bartenders, and maintaining a clean and inviting atmosphere for our patrons. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting bartenders with setting up and packing down the bar area.
- Washing and polishing glassware, ensuring a continuous supply.
- Restocking fridges with beverages, ice, and other bar supplies.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the bar area, including wiping down surfaces and sweeping floors.
- Emptying bins and managing waste effectively.
- Assisting with inventory checks and stock rotation as required.
- Supporting general bar operations to ensure efficient service.
Required Skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Availability for evening and weekend shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate (or willingness to obtain upon employment).
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is a plus, but not essential – we will provide training!
