We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Au Pair / Live-in Nanny to become an integral part of our family. Job Description
We are seeking a responsible and loving Au Pair / Live-in Nanny to join our family in Coffs Harbour, New South Wales. This is a unique opportunity for someone looking for a cultural exchange experience while providing essential childcare and light household support. Your primary role will be to care for our two children, ensuring their safety, happiness, and development. This live-in position includes room and board, providing a comfortable home away from home, along with a monthly stipend. We are looking for a long-term commitment, ideally for 6-12 months, starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist children with morning routines, including dressing, breakfast, and preparing for school/daycare.
- Perform school and daycare drop-offs and pick-ups (a valid driver's license will be essential for this).
- Engage children in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities, both indoors and outdoors.
- Supervise playtime, craft activities, and help with homework.
- Prepare healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
- Maintain a tidy and organized environment in children's play areas and bedrooms.
- Assist with children's laundry and light household tasks related to the children.
- Provide occasional evening babysitting as mutually agreed upon.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's activities and progress.
Required Skills
- Genuine love for children and ability to connect with them.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in childcare (babysitting, volunteering, camp counseling, etc.)
- Valid Australian or international driver's license.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Non-smoker.
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one upon arrival).
