Job Description
Join our dynamic team at DHL Aviation as an Airport Cargo Pallet Wrapper. This entry-level role is crucial for ensuring the safe and secure transportation of freight through our Coventry hub. You will be responsible for preparing cargo for air transport by accurately netting, wrapping, and securing pallets according to strict aviation safety and company standards. Full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and competent in all aspects of the role. This is a hands-on position requiring attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced airport environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently net and wrap cargo pallets to secure freight for air transport.
- Inspect pallets for stability and adherence to safety regulations.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as required (training provided).
- Label and identify cargo accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the cargo terminal.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely processing of shipments.
- Report any damaged or non-compliant cargo immediately.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications
