Job Description

Signature Aviation in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as an Aircraft Refueler / Line Service Tech. This is an entry-level position where no prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive, full training to equip you with all the skills needed to succeed. You’ll work on the airport ramp, performing critical ground support functions, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of aircraft, and providing top-notch service to our customers. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently refuel aircraft in accordance with company and regulatory procedures.
- Marshal aircraft to and from parking positions using appropriate hand signals.
- Operate ground support equipment (GSE) such as tugs, fuel trucks, and baggage loaders.
- Provide exceptional customer service to pilots, crew, and passengers.
- Perform routine daily inspections of equipment and facilities.
- Maintain a clean and organized ramp area and work environment.
- Assist with baggage and cargo loading/unloading as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members, flight crews, and dispatchers.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to obtain airport badge and pass required background checks.
- Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a physical, outdoor, or customer service role.
- Mechanical aptitude or experience operating heavy equipment.
- Familiarity with airport operations or aviation terminology.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
