Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Vineyard Pruners for the upcoming winter season. This is a temporary role perfect for backpackers, students, or anyone looking for seasonal work in a beautiful agricultural setting. No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and skilled in vineyard pruning techniques. You will be an integral part of preparing our vines for a successful harvest, working outdoors in a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform winter pruning of grapevines according to established methods and quality standards.
- Learn and apply various pruning techniques, including spur pruning and cane pruning.
- Identify and remove old wood, dead shoots, and weak canes to promote vine health and fruit quality.
- Maintain a high standard of work efficiency and accuracy.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while working in the vineyard.
- Work effectively as part of a team, communicating with supervisors and colleagues.
- Adhere to company policies and environmental best practices.

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Good physical fitness and stamina for repetitive tasks.

Preferred Qualifications
