You will play an essential role in our daily operations, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of shipments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the safe and efficient loading and unloading of trucks and containers.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against invoices, purchase orders, and manifests to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare outbound shipments by accurately packing, labeling, and scanning products according to company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, in a safe manner after receiving proper training.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety procedures and operational policies.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with team members, supervisors, and truck drivers.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned to support overall operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable transportation to and from our Reidsville facility.
- Ability to thrive and maintain focus in a fast-paced work environment.
- Eagerness to learn new skills and adapt to changing tasks.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills (reading, writing, and simple arithmetic).
- Commitment to punctuality and attendance.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and scanning tasks.
- Previous experience in a physically demanding role (e.g., general labor, construction, landscaping) is a plus but not required, as full training is provided.
