Job Description

WPP is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Remote Digital Asset Manager to join our global team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in organizing, cataloging, and maintaining our vast library of digital media files. You will ensure easy access, proper usage, and adherence to brand guidelines for all digital assets across our various agencies and brands. This 100% remote role requires a proactive individual passionate about digital content management and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of digital assets, from ingestion to archival.
  • Develop and implement metadata schemas, naming conventions, and tagging strategies.
  • Manage and maintain the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with creative, marketing, and legal teams to understand asset needs and usage rights.
  • Train users on DAM system best practices and provide ongoing support.
  • Conduct regular audits of the DAM system to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Support the integration of the DAM system with other platforms and workflows.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
  • Strong understanding of metadata standards and taxonomy.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in media file formats, image, and video codecs.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Information Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience with specific DAM platforms (e.g., Bynder, Canto, Adobe Experience Manager Assets).
  • Knowledge of copyright laws, intellectual property rights, and digital licensing.
  • Experience working in a large agency or corporate environment.
