Job Description
We are seeking physically fit and motivated individuals to join our Farm Fencing Crew based in Berri, South Australia. This is an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy working outdoors, have a strong work ethic, and are keen to learn new skills in a practical, hands-on environment. As part of our team, you will be responsible for the construction, repair, and maintenance of various types of farm fencing across local agricultural properties. Full training will be provided to the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Install new fencing, including post-driving, wire-stretching, and gate installation.
- Repair and maintain existing fences to ensure livestock containment and property security.
- Handle and transport fencing materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Operate hand tools and basic power tools relevant to fencing work.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and to high standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work site.
- Communicate effectively with team leaders and property owners.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform strenuous physical work in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Australian Driver's License (manual transmission preferred).
- Experience with farm work, construction, or outdoor labour.
- First Aid certification.
- Experience operating quad bikes, side-by-sides, or other farm vehicles.
- White Card (General Construction Induction card).
