Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Chiropractor to join our vibrant and professional team at Gungahlin Wellness Clinic. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner to contribute to a collaborative environment focused on patient outcomes and community health. The successful candidate will manage a diverse patient caseload, providing high-quality chiropractic care, developing personalised treatment plans, and working alongside other health professionals to ensure integrated care. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient consultations, examinations, and assessments to diagnose musculoskeletal conditions.
- Develop and implement evidence-based, individualised treatment plans.
- Perform chiropractic adjustments and other manual therapies.
- Educate patients on spinal health, posture, exercise, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with professional standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic for integrated patient care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings.
- Contribute to the positive and professional atmosphere of the clinic.
Required Skills
- Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current and unrestricted registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).
- Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience.
- Proven ability to manage a diverse patient caseload.
- Excellent diagnostic and treatment skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to patient-centred care and ethical practice.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with various chiropractic techniques (e.g., Diversified, Gonstead, Activator).
- Post-graduate certifications or specialisations in specific areas (e.g., sports chiropractic, paediatrics).
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Active involvement in professional chiropractic associations.
