Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across all kitchen areas, including floors, walls, and work surfaces.
- Operate and maintain dishwashing machinery, ensuring all dishes, cutlery, pots, and pans are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
- Properly store clean equipment and utensils in designated areas.
- Assist with the basic receiving and storage of deliveries, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Empty kitchen waste bins and manage waste disposal according to hotel procedures.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including manual handling and chemical safety guidelines.
- Support the culinary team with basic tasks as needed, such as preparing specific ingredients or retrieving items.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks periodically as scheduled.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to management promptly.
