Job Description

Are you enthusiastic, friendly, and looking for an entry-level opportunity to gain valuable customer service and retail experience? Green Meadows Farm & Deli is seeking a weekend Farm Gate Sales Assistant to join our team! This is a fantastic chance for someone with no prior experience to learn the ropes of farm retail, directly engage with customers, and work with wonderful fresh produce. Full training will be provided, so all you need is a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and welcoming manner at our farm gate shop.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system.
  • Handle cash and card payments and provide correct change.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and appealing shop floor, ensuring produce displays are well-stocked and tidy.
  • Assist with packing and bagging customer purchases.
  • Provide information about our products, their origins, and any special offers.
  • Help with basic stock rotation and inventory checks.
  • Support the team with opening and closing procedures for the shop.
