Job Description
easyJet is seeking highly experienced and professional Airline Captains to join our dynamic team based out of Coventry. As an Airline Captain, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft, leading your crew, and ensuring an exceptional experience for our passengers. We are looking for individuals with a proven track record of aviation safety, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining easyJet’s high standards of service and operational integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Command the aircraft safely and efficiently in accordance with easyJet's operational procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the cabin and flight crew, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Ensure compliance with all flight rules, air traffic control instructions, and airport specific procedures.
- Make critical decisions regarding flight safety, weather, fuel, and operational disruptions.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight briefings and post-flight debriefings.
- Maintain a high level of situational awareness and effective communication with air traffic control, ground staff, and cabin crew.
- Uphold easyJet's commitment to customer service and passenger well-being.
Required Skills
- Valid UK CAA EASA Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) or equivalent, convertible to UK CAA.
- Current Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Minimum of 5000 total flying hours, with at least 1500 hours as Commander on multi-crew, multi-engine jet aircraft over 20 tonnes.
- Type rating on Airbus A320 family aircraft is highly advantageous.
- Proven leadership and decision-making abilities in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of aviation regulations and safety management systems.
- Right to live and work in the UK.
- Ability to obtain an Airside Pass and DBS check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Line Training Captain or TRI/TRE.
- Extensive experience on the Airbus A320 family.
- Fluency in an additional European language.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development.
