Job Description
Are you a student looking for flexible work that fits around your studies, or someone seeking casual hours in a dynamic retail environment? Woolworths is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Online Order Pickers to join our team in Broome. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking and packing customer online grocery orders, ensuring they receive the freshest products and a seamless shopping experience. No prior experience is necessary – we provide comprehensive training for all new team members. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently pick grocery items according to customer online orders
- Ensure products are fresh, of high quality, and correctly scanned
- Pack orders carefully and correctly for delivery or customer collection
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, including shelves and packing stations
- Adhere to all food safety and store operational procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet order deadlines
- Assist with stock rotation and replenishment as needed
Required Skills
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order picking
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as required (up to 15kg)
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
- Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment (not essential, but a plus)
- Familiarity with grocery products and store layouts
- Basic understanding of food safety principles
