Job Description

This is an exceptional paid internship opportunity for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual looking to start a career in Human Resources. As a Junior HR Coordinator Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting our HR team in daily operations, learning fundamental HR processes, and contributing to a positive employee experience within a leading financial institution. Full training and mentorship will be provided, making this an ideal role for someone with no prior HR experience who is eager to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the full recruitment lifecycle, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Support HR administrators with onboarding new employees, preparing new hire documentation, and conducting initial orientation sessions.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Help coordinate HR-related projects, training sessions, and employee engagement activities.
  • Respond to basic employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Prepare HR reports and presentations as needed.
  • Perform general administrative duties for the HR department.

Required Skills

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • A keen interest in human resources and a desire to learn.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • No prior HR experience required; a willingness to learn is paramount.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with HR software or systems (e.g., Workday, SAP HR) is a plus, but not required.
  • Prior experience in an office environment (even non-HR related) is a bonus.
